About Me
Hi! I'm Steven Driver, also known as Sdriver1. I'm a second-year Computer Science student at RIT (Class of 2030). I build Discord bots, web apps, and the infrastructure they run on. My main project is Pridebot, a multi-function LGBTQIA+ Discord bot that serves 19k+ servers and over 1.3M+ users. I work mostly in JavaScript/TypeScript on Node.js, plus Java and Python for coursework and side projects. I self-host nearly everything I build on a two-server homelab using Docker, Cloudflare, and Tailscale. I'm currently a Software Developer Associate at devEco Consulting and a Reviewer for Top.gg. Away from the keyboard, I've been a lifeguard and swim instructor since 2023.

Personal Homelabs
Two Linux servers running my services on a Docker Compose stack behind Nginx Proxy Manager, Cloudflare Tunnel and Tailscale, with AdGuard Home DNS, Uptime Kuma, nightly backups and dynamic DNS. The two servers monitor each other and back each other up, so if one goes down the other takes over its services until it is back.

A live dashboard for my server: CPU, RAM, GPU, disk and network graphs, container and service health checks, and incident history, all set from YAML. It shows a standby banner while the backup server is serving traffic.

A URL shortener with QR codes and click analytics. One image runs as two containers that share a SQLite (WAL) database: a public redirector with a strict CSP, and an admin panel and REST API that only work over Tailscale.
